I've only read it once all the way through, but I've read large sections multiple times, especially when I was writing my bio of Glaurung.

I have to say.. three, or more, I'm not exactly sure. Sometimes I like to look up certain parts, stories that I want to read over and over again. But I will no doubtedly read it again, it's just a matter of finding time to do so among all the other books I read.
