I have so many books I started and never finished cause of boredom. Which is different from stoppin gin the middle of a series, though i've done that too many times. I hear the films weren't all that good except selected ones, but idk, i've only seen the 2nd one. To me this fad has lasted waaay too long. I mean, if Twilight lasts this long....oh mi gosh... *stares into space* we're doomed. *faints.* *Hobbit attendants hurry over and fan Mírwen with mallorn leaves* Ah, that's better. Thanks Ferdy and Ferry! I bet you're wondering where I got hobbit attendants to serve my every need. Well, I bought their services over the hobbit black market (which happens to be run by my dear friend Pippin, so I got a good deal on the guys!) the hobbit slave trade is very secret however and if Mayor Samwise hears about it things will go very badly for poor Pippin, and he has a wife to support and little baby Faramir! So...mums the word.

Some of the films are sort of great (Azkaban and Half Blood, for me) others... less so. But I'm still ridiculously fond of the books. Twilight is horrible and some of the elements makes my little feminist heart fume, and it needs to DIAF right now. My cousins middle child (I think she's 11), is really into it, and I keep shoving my copy of The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings at her, hoping beyond hope that she'll come to her senses. She asked for the first book from me for christmas, because I'm the only one in the family that buys books for people, and felt cruel when I went out of my way to find SOMETHING ELSE, ANYTHING to get her in stead.

Haha I did the same thing when my brother asked me for the Dark Knight DVD. I deliberately bought him ALL FOUR of the 90s Batman movies (Batman, Bats Returns, Bats Forever, and Bats and Robin) for Christmas instead. Muahaha! *cackles* Keep shoving your copy of LOTR and the Hobbit in front of her! I was 11 when I first read The Hobbit....hopefully people will become interested in it again after the 2 awesome Hobbit movies come out. ;D Haha awww your poor feminist heart I see what you mean.

YEAH. If they won't develop good taste by themselves, we should all take it upon ourselves to fix it. I have already given given her big sister the Hobbit, but I think it's been neglected. At least my "make them like good music" project is going somewhat better, LOL. TwiFail just makes me see red. *fumes in silence*

I actually liked the Harry Potter books once upon a time. Never cared for the movies though- Daniel Radcliff ... ick.
Twilight. I have no comment. The popularity of that series is further proof that the end is nigh. Or TV usage has damaged the eyes of this generation.

Wow.. I went over and looked at the Numenor board, and the Life RPG was so hilarious! We should do something like that here!

Aww Lol I loved that Life RPG!! Maybe once activity boosts on here we can start RPGing again, that was fun!
Of course I'm no good with boosting activity it seems...I have patterns of strange hiatuses for no reason at all...and no excuse. Well, except....um...except...
TWILIGHT WAS ATTACKING ME! I tried to fight back, but the fangirls were just too strong....and soon they used their hormonal werevampireness to overcome me entirely and took away my beloved Gondolin blade!!! And then they locked me in a dungeon along with Peter Pan and...and...then the Hobbit Stealth Team came by and freed me cause the dungeon doors were made with half barrel hinges and were easily lifted free with the proper leverege. ;D
That's my excuse.
*Elrond raises eyebrows*
Heh heh...

So did Peter Pan get out that way too? Or did he decide to take the one-stone-at-a-time escape route that Pocket made last time Hadar and the Twilight Fangirls put him in the dungeon? And what did Tink think of the situation?
