I have so many books I started and never finished cause of boredom. Which is different from stoppin gin the middle of a series, though i've done that too many times.
I hear the films weren't all that good except selected ones, but idk, i've only seen the 2nd one. To me this fad has lasted waaay too long. I mean, if Twilight lasts this long....oh mi gosh... *stares into space* we're doomed. *faints.*

I bet you're wondering where I got hobbit attendants to serve my every need. Well, I bought their services over the hobbit black market (which happens to be run by my dear friend Pippin, so I got a good deal on the guys!) the hobbit slave trade is very secret however and if Mayor Samwise hears about it things will go very badly for poor Pippin, and he has a wife to support and little baby Faramir! So...mums the word.

Some of the films are sort of great (Azkaban and Half Blood, for me) others... less so. But I'm still ridiculously fond of the books. Twilight is horrible and some of the elements makes my little feminist heart fume, and it needs to DIAF right now. My cousins middle child (I think she's 11), is really into it, and I keep shoving my copy of The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings at her, hoping beyond hope that she'll come to her senses. She asked for the first book from me for christmas, because I'm the only one in the family that buys books for people, and felt cruel when I went out of my way to find SOMETHING ELSE, ANYTHING to get her in stead.

Haha I did the same thing when my brother asked me for the Dark Knight DVD. I deliberately bought him ALL FOUR of the 90s Batman movies (Batman, Bats Returns, Bats Forever, and Bats and Robin) for Christmas instead. Muahaha! *cackles*
Keep shoving your copy of LOTR and the Hobbit in front of her! I was 11 when I first read The Hobbit....hopefully people will become interested in it again after the 2 awesome Hobbit movies come out.

YEAH. If they won't develop good taste by themselves, we should all take it upon ourselves to fix it.
I have already given given her big sister the Hobbit, but I think it's been neglected. At least my "make them like good music" project is going somewhat better, LOL.
