Yeah, I read FOTR and TTT, then I turned 13 and was officially allowed to watch the movies. Then I read ROTK while waiting for the ROTK movie to come out.
Aw I wish my LOTR books were that read. But sadly...only one of my siblings ever read LOTR after I did. So I still have 2 sibs who are LOTR deprived. They've seen the movies though. Wish it was the other way around.

Films remind me of cameras. Though since the film goes inside the camera, it's kind of like saying a person reminds you of a house. Strange how our word associations work...

Hmmm I think Hades from Disney's Hercules. I'm sure if I were given a few hours I could come up with someone better, but on the spot I'd say Hades. That guy's really likable and funny, yet still a baddie.

Re: Elvish names « Result #9 Today at 1:36am »
I already posted mine on the welcome board....but it is Mírwen Lindorië Anariel Elenwë Undomiel Greenleaf. Yup. My rpg/original fiction character was named Mirwen, and Legolas called her Lindorië, Aragorn called her Elenwë, and Galadriel called her Anariel I think. the last two are just surnames. I wish I had been more inventive, but this was early on when I had a very limited elven vocabulary.
Aww Yaverina I remember your elf names!! I remember making up the Meladoraëra Aëquesien part!

Re: Hello! « Result #10 Today at 1:30am »
Welcome welcome welcome Nessa!! I'd introduce myself, but u already know who I am through the AO board. Well, best give my full name and give you a welcome cookie!
My name is Mírwen Lindorië Anariel Elenwë Undomiel Greenleaf, called Mírwen Ladybow. I come from an alternate universe where Arwen and Legolas got married, then got locked in a dungeon together in Isengard and Aragorn and Elrond have to band together and save them with the help of moi of course cause I'm Leggy and Arwen's daughter...this story may sound eerily similar to another...*cough*
Anyway, here, have a welcome cookie! *pulls out a carbon freezer from the closet and opens it up* aha, here we go. We keep the welcome cookies in the carbon freezer so they will always be fresh when new members come by. We haven't had one in a while, which is why the carbon freezer was in the...er...closet.
Hey Lindy, remind me to move the carbon freezer to the pantry in the Numenor Tipsy Bar. Yes, I know that involves dragging it to the secret portal, but this closet is cluttered. Space must be made!
Oh and also Nessa, here's a piece of cake from the last party we had. I froze that too cause Frodofan was away and didn't get her slice right away, and Finn probably never got his either but I'm rather forgetful when it comes to who's had cake and who hasn't...I know the French peasants didn't have cake...
